November 18, 2020 Irma RomeroLeave a comment

Here I present a lovely early 1940s style check Harris tweed pure new wool skirt suit with a flared skirt and a short jacket with geometric detailing down the front and back of jacket and panelling on the skirt. Featuring padded shoulders, a large collar and navy vintage buttons, very typical of the era.

This beautiful red silk/wool blend suit inspired by the iconic “New Look” by Christian Dior with a slightly flared peplum, fabric covered buttons, double darts, cinched in waist, wide collar line , rounded padded shoulders and the beautifully draped full skirt will take you to the crucial change in fashion history.
