A beautiful early 1930s style wool coat

This lovely early 1930s inspired brown wool coat screams 1930s all over with its delightful colour contrast of the brown of the wool top and the burnt orange cupro lining, and the orange vintage buttons. The extra large and wide collar also very favoured in the era and the art deco style and geometric yoke at the back adorned with two buttons. The coat can be fastened two ways, either with open large collar or with two buttons creating a funnel type neck. The belt features a vintage bakelite buckle. The coat is fashionably mid- calf length. It also has two diagonally placed welt pockets. The sleeves feature rectangular half cuffs with two sewn on buttons.

Early 1930s style gabardine coat

I wanted to channel a bit of early Burberry in this classic gabardine cotton trench coat. The stand up collar ends in a tie closure but it can also be worn open and down. It has interesting triangular inserts in sleeves and deco shaped cuffs fastened with original 1930s wooden buttons. Also featured on the two pockets and fastening of the coat. The belt has an original Bakelite buckle. The back of the coat is tucked in at the neck and waist creating a lovely pleat effect.
