This lovely early 1940s style wool crepe dress is a prime example of the silhouette of the era with its accentuated padded shoulder line, scalloped style yokes both front and back, and the geometric peaks on the flared skirt. This delightful mid- 1930s style jumper had already seen the light of day earlier with butterscotch coloured bakelite buttons, and here revived with rusty red coloured ones and a matching early 1930s style panelled skirt with buttons on the kick pleats down the front and the back, which makes this set perfect for one of those early autumnal strolls.
